A custom home remodel which added value to the investment (and lifestyle) of our client!
Our Home Remodel in West Croydon involved changing the structure of an existing house through demolition and construction.
The home remodelling project we’ve worked on is a house in West Croydon. The home is a family of five who lives there. They had purchased an existing home, but the home wasn’t quite fulfilling their needs as a large family.
During the home remodelling project, we took care of the plans & project management, which involved the following:
In-depth consultation to understand what the client needed and wanted in from their house
The first draft that included a range of design possibilities
Mark up drawing by the client or subsequent meetings
3D rendered models
Passover to our engineers to file the application for planning approval and structural design before construction begins.
Home Remodel in West Croydon
Using our in-house Architects + engineers, we established a full-service home remodelling plan.
Unlike some budding DIY renovators who don’t realize the importance of hiring a professional engineer for additions as their expert knowledge will help to save money and improve a home’s value. These guys decided to hire us to take them through the home remodelling process.
Being a mentor for home remodelling service our services extended to but not limiting to discussing permits, conducting structural inspections, building codes and zoning, and complete project oversight.
Like every residential renovations project, this project required plans or permits for:
All new constructions
New doors or windows openings
Moving interior walls
Patios, patio enclosures & decks
Reroofing & reframing
Carports & storage sheds
Adding or altering electrical or plumbing.
We started with a structural inspection to check the building’s stature which is the most important part of a home remodelling project. The foundation of the existing home was checked to determine whether it was strong enough to take the remodel. Thereafter, it was our architects and interior designers who played their part before the home was handover to the builder for construction.
